Cam Mears has been in the structured settlements industry since 1993. He has held sales and management positions on both the broker and insurer sides, as well as with Medicare compliance and information technology companies serving the industry. He was active in the National Structured Settlement Trade Association, chairing the Technology and Marketing Committees.

Cam joined the structured settlement factoring industry in 2010 due to his concern and distaste for conventional factoring company sales tactics. He knows that factoring can be valuable in some situations, but that most factoring companies only care about their profits, often at the expense of annuitants. Cam entered the industry as a referral-only professional and is a proud member of Bentzen Financial.  He draws on his 35+ years of experience in structured settlements, finance, and accounting to provide counsel and assistance to structured settlement annuitants and their advisors, attorneys, and others involved in litigation so that they can make informed and sound financial decisions.
